Bait, which is good for crappie?
I want to know what is good for crappie bait, but something that Sunnys dont like, becuz i go to this lake and since there are a lot of Sunny's, but I want to eat a good fish to catch, so what is a good bait for them? and it is difficult, fish fillet, because I just bought a fillet knife, and i sorta know how, because I see the people fillet fish the whole time, but at 15, and want to catch crappie, fillet and eat it
Some good baits are live baits, fur devices, plastic baits, spinners, spoons. try small minnows for live bait, but not too small or The Sunnies will have it. they were like 2 inches long. Worms also work, but the attack as pirahnas Sunnies. but if you are big enough worm with a bigger hook Sunnies it will not get. I even caught a crappie on crawfish. If you use a spinner to use size 0 or 1. same for the spoons and jigs for the use of bright colors, so they can see them. for plastics, simply use a little like a rubber hose or rubber liite larvae or insect or fish. For the fight, use a 5 mono to 5'6 feet a little spining rod coil with 6 to 8 pound test. fileting fish is not difficult once you get the hang of, but the harder to crappie, because it got too small fillet.
