how will i know if my peacock eel is alive or just hideing or still in the tank at all.?
I have sand subtrate and lots of fake plants. I haven't seen them in days. I am afraid they have escaped the tank it died under the sand because I never see them, even late at night after the lights have been out for a while. I don't see them on the floor anywhere but it seems they never come out of the sand. Im almost convinced their in the tank at all.
Look on the floor around the tank and anything he might have landed on. if you don't find him, add some live California blackworms to the tank as food. if he is still in the tank, he won't be able to avoid them and will show up for these.
